{Pantone Color of the Week ~ Tangerine}

This weeks Pantone Color of the week is...

Tangerine is one of the hottest colors for Spring 2015...literally. The bold and vivacious color can bring any color palette to life. The Executive Director of The Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, had this to say about Tangerine... "Spontaneous and gregarious, Tangerine is a juicy orange shade that is energizing, yet not jarring to the eye. Versatile Tangerine is striking enough to stand on its own and adds vitality to a printed pattern. Good natured and friendly, but with a tangy edge, this fun-loving color invites a smile." Below are a couple of color pairings that would bring your wedding to life using Tangerine.

Tangerine, Teal, Gold

How great is this groomsmen's outfit?! Our first color pairing consists of Tangerine, Teal and Gold. The perfect match for any bride, yet masculine enough to not have your groomsmen cringing at their tie color. By using tangerine and teal, it brings out the complimentary pairing that has stood the test of time and by adding accents of sparkly gold, it can help to bring an elegance to this color palette.

Tangerine, Deep Teal, Muted Pink

Our next color pairing is one that can be used in the Spring or the Fall. By combining the radiance of the tangerine with the muted and cool tones of Deep Teal and Muted Pink this makes for a versatile color palette. The table setting above is a perfect match for this color scheme. By combining tangerine and muted pink in the centerpieces, the deep teal of the glassware, contrasted with the white tablecloth, helps this color palette to not overwhelm your guests but is sure to impress them.

Tangerine, Watermelon, Pea Green

How beautiful is this Bridesmaids Bouquet?!? Our last color pairing is one of my absolute favorites that we have featured on the blog. By combining Watermelon and Tangerine dahlias with a little bit of greenery, it makes your bouquets pop, even against this stunning watermelon bridesmaids dress. Tangerine doesn't have to be your main color, but it makes for a great accent color.

We hope that this Spring you will take a chance and use Tangerine as one of your main colors for your wedding!
