{ Fall Florals }

One major decision in any wedding, is choosing those beautiful floral arrangements. However, it tends to be quite stressful. What colors to pick? What stems are in season? How much do arrangements or even individual stems cost a piece? What pairs nicely together? Well we're here to help. Here is a list of some of our favorite fall flowers provided by our very own, Sherri Christensen.

A chrysanthemum symbolizes optimism and joy. It’s said that a single petal of this celebrated flower placed at the bottom of a wine glass will encourage a long and healthy life. That's why it is known as the 13th top wedding flower. These flowers tend to sell at $7-$8 a bunch.

Although babys breath doesn't have a deep meaning like most flowers, they are so tender and delicate that they are so beautiful in any floral arrangement. These have been very popular in all of our barn weddings. The simplicity is so beautiful. A bunch of this tends to range around $12-$15.


Sunflowers have such a vibrant and distinctive appearance that draws our eyes to them. Being the 3rd top wedding flower, their open faces symbolize the sun itself, conveying warmth and happiness, adoration and longevity. Sunflowers are sold by the stem and range from $2.50-$4 a stem.


A hydrangea is known to have many different meanings. One representing anything that is heartfelt. One consensus on this 4th top wedding flower is that it possesses enduring grace and beauty. These beautiul year round flowers tend to cost $2.50 a stem, which is a remarkable price. These are a real cost reducer, seeing as they are cheaper and larger to make a full arrangement.


The dahlia flower expresses sentiments of dignity and elegance. It is also the symbol of a commitment and bond that lasts forever. How beautiful is that meaning?!? Dahlia's can cost anywhere from $3-$8 a stem.


Of course each different color of a rose has a different meaning, but what a beautiful flower to symbolize love. The "wedding rose" is the white rose representing unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new bond of love. Roses can be a bit pricey when then add up, however, you can find them to where they range from $2-$3.50 a stem.


With a deep romantic tale behind this flower it's no surprie that today the amaryllis have come to symbolize pride, determination and radiant beauty. This is the most expensive flower ranging from $6.50- $8 a stem but the beauty is all well worth it.
