Alex + Mason Bennett
Alex + Mason Bennett -- it is an absolute joy to be featuring this sweet, sweet couple on our blog today! We had the pleasure of doing the florals + coordination for their Big Day at the gorgeous Chair Factory in Gainesville, GA this past June. Alex shared with us details about their wedding, and we are so excited to feature their story & stunning photos with you all -- continue reading!
"Mason and I met in 2016 on a mission trip to Honduras. My friend was leading the mission trip and asked if I would like to go, and I told her yes! I started attending the church that Mason went to and we saw each other Sunday mornings and at mission trip meetings, but we did not become close until we spent the week together in Honduras. We went on our first date that August when we got back and we have been inseparable ever since -- we have been together for 3 years!"
"Mason graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a degree in Agriculture Business. After he graduated, he still had to take one more class before he moved home for good. While he was still in Athens, he decided that he wanted to do some graduation pictures with his cap and gown in front of the arch and his class buildings on Ag Hill. I knew that I would snap a few pics with him while he was having them done, but the actual plan was to get a photographer there to capture our proposal! We got engaged On June 26th 2018!"
"The planning process was virtually painless! I really did not feel stressed at all. I was planning during my senior year of college, and I would say that I was more stressed about school than the wedding! Every meeting that we had I expressed what my vision was, and Sherri and Brittany made it come to life. All of the vendors were wonderful (and delicious)!"
"I am most thankful that we did not have to lift a finger! Everything was set up and decorated for us. This made the day as stress free as possible! Even though it was raining, the chair factory looked beautiful regardless. Everything was picture perfect and exactly what we asked for."
"The best thing about being married is being able to come home everyday to the person you love. We are content when are on the go and we are content when we are doing nothing. But, my favorite thing is just being able to be together."
